Week Nine

I had so much fun editing all my pictures.  Some of them I did more than one edited picture.  I liked being able to go outside and think of all the opposites around us.  I can tell that picasa, the web album, and learning about digital cameras, will be very helpful in my classroom.  This class has been so helpful for my future teaching, and I'm glad I took this class.
Also, there are some of my blog posts that don't have comments, so I don't know if you've seen them and you didn't comment or what. If you could look at those, that would be great! Thank you!

Week Eight

I have loved doing this digital camera assignment.  I enjoyed learning about picasa and how to use it.  I have used it a couple times before, but didn't know all the things it could do.  It took my a little thinking about what I wanted my topic to be.  Once I decided on opposites, I got excited to take my pictures.  Now that I have, it is going to be a lot of fun editing them, and trying out all the things picasa can do.

Week Seven

I really enjoyed reading the many articles on digital cameras.  I learned a lot about digital cameras and how to use them in the classroom that I know will be so helpful.  I never really thought about using a camera in my classroom until I read these articles.  They really opened my mind.  It will be fun to explore with the kids in my classroom with a digital camera.  I have always loved taking pictures and everything to do with it.  I'm excited to learn more about pictures and how to edit them.

Week Five

The CultureGrams assignment was a lot of fun.  I am Italy, and I love learning  more things about where my ancestors came from.  That is why I chose to do mine on Italy.  I learned a lot from the assignment.  The website CultureGrams is so helpful, not only for me as a teacher, but for my students.  It is always important for young children to learn about different countries, and cultures.  I'm excited to learn more.

Week Four

Pioneer is so helpful.  I learned a lot from it.  It's great to know you don't have to search the million's of pages that Google has.  You can get just about everything from Pioneer Library.  I will always look forward to this class.  It's a lot of fun, and I have learned so many new things.

Week Three

I have really quite enjoyed this class.  Week three of class was fun.  I loved being able to see everyone's different UEN All About Me pages. 
I have learned a lot from the assignments we have had in class.  I know that for my future class room have the resources taught in class will be really helpful.  Think ahead of having to prepare my classroom, it scared me thinking about having to create everything, but with the different resources I won't have to do it all!

Week Two

  The paper we did this last week was great.  It was interesting to read the different articles about using technology in the classroom.  It is always important to listen to your children's input in the classroom.  Technology is becoming a bigger part of our lives.  Every child learns from technology in some way, which means, putting it in the classroom can help them.  I do believe in some ways children still need to learn the basics of school without technology.  Things such as writing, spelling, and communicating with their peers.
I loved being able to learn how to create my own UEN web page.  It was fun to fill it out with things about myself.  I know that it will be helpful to have when I become a teacher.

I am excited to learn a lot more in this class.  It will be fun!
